There are conflicting reports as to whether the Saints running back and 2005 Heisman winner might be out for Monday night’s game against Atlanta, or out for the remainder of the season. What is clear is that Bush has suffered a partially torn knee ligament, that although does not appear to require surgery, it will take time to heal. An MRI indicated a tear in his posterior cruciate ligament. This injury would be a big blow for the Saints after their other top running back, Deuce McAllister also suffered a season ending knee injury in week three.

Bush has a total of 581 yards rushing (30th in the league), 417 yards receiving, with six touchdowns on the season.
