Safety Troy Polamalu has been on the Steelers’ bench for the past three games nursing a knee sprain. And after three weeks of rest and another week of strong practice, Polamalu’s ready to take the field against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But despite both teams being in the playoff hunt, this game isn’t just about winning…it’s about family.
As reported by AP Sports Writer Alan Robinson, this coming weekend Troy Polamalu’s skills will be pitted against his uncle’s devices. That’s because Troy’s uncle, Kennedy Polamalu (Pola for short), the former assistant running backs coach for USC, is now the current running backs coach for the Jaguars.

Kennedy Pola jokes he has more money now because Polamalu isn’t always coming around asking to borrow some, like he did during his college days.
Troy Polamalu is sure to have his hands full as his uncle’s skills have proven very effective.
(Jacksonvilles) Fred Taylor is coming off three consecutive 100-yard games and Jacksonville’s average of 143.8 yards rushing per game is second in the league.
