mike: you read the Mitchell Report yet?
jason: ya, that kirk radomski guy sounds like a pretty solid witness to base a $20 million investigation around
jason: this is straight from the report: Radomski’s sources for anabolic steroids were mainly “people he knew at the gyms,” who he could not further identify.
mike: chuck norris?
jason: but wait, there’s more: Radomski approached patients as they were leaving pharmacies and offered to purchase a portion of their just-filled prescriptions.
jason: “hey, can i have your drugs?”
jason: that’s not shady at all
jason: The players for whom evidence has been gathered include players whose tenures in the major leagues were long, and others whose tenures were brief.
jason: must suck to be outed as a steroid user who didn’t make it
mike: “you cheated, you failed”
jason: “so-and-so resembled a horse and hit .230 for the albuquerque dukes”
jason: lenny dykstra: According to Radomski, when Dykstra reported to spring training in 1989, “his increased size was noticeable.”
mike: his cup size was down though
jason: After the Phillies lost the 1993 World Series, Dykstra called Radomski and asked whether Radomski could get Dykstra steroids.
jason: he also asked radomski to have mitch williams shot
