USC raised the stakes, threatening to pull Trojan football out of the Coliseum and take it’s game-day revenue over to Pasadena. Well it seems the tactic may be working. The deal is said to include a partnership between USC and the state of California (which owns the Coliseum), in selling naming rights to the stadium that would help pay for a sizable portion of its renovation.
