Illinois quarterback Juice Williams runs the spread-option offense and is drawing comparisons to other quarterbacks the Trojans faced, but no one wants to compare him to Oregon’s Dennis Dixon.
“He’s not like Dennis Dixon, he’s more of a running-back quarterback,’’ defensive end Lawrence Jackson said.
Carroll compared Williams to Washington quarterback Jake Locker.
“They have similar looks and they move great,’’ he said.
