Lot of rumors going around that current Tar Heel, Alex Stephenson, is considering transferring back home to Southern California because of issues in his family.  The rumors at this point are completely unsubstantiated so take it with a grain of salt, but if true, USC is expected to be in the running among other schools.  With the lack of quality big men left in the ’08 class, the coaching staff will likely key in on Alex.  You would also think with SC’s desperate need for a talented low-post player, it would be logical for Alex to favor SC.  He had nice things to say about SC and Coach Floyd when we met in the Sweet 16 last year, so that is a positive.  I’ll try to update as things unfold.
