Thanks to an alert poster on wearesc.com, here’s what Rey Maualuga told his hometown paper, the News-Standard of Eureka, Calif., in a story today on a visit home to his mother to make certain his decision to stay for his senior season is the correct one.

After a Rose Bowl game that NFL Draft pundits say may have moved him up more than any underclassman eligible for the draft, Maualuga said he’s even more certain that his decision to return to USC is the correct one.
