When O.J. Mayo decided to come to USC, he ticked off the reasons:

1) chance to make an immediate impact at a place where there haven’t been all that many impact players — CHECK.

2) Chance to play in the nation’s best basketball league this season: CHECK

3) Chance to play just a little more than a mile away from two NBA teams where home games might attract as many as 27 NBA scouts — CHECK.

4) More exposure in the nation’s media capital than anywhere else: CHECK and “Uh Oh.” Maybe not all media exposure is good for a person. Just think if TNT had not caught him on camera Monday.
