Jordan Palmer, little-bro to Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson, was all but ready to join the Arena football league. Then he got an offer he couldn’t refuse. Come to Cinci, to try and earn a spot as Carson’s backup. As reported on the Bengals’ official site, Jordan, a sixth-round pick of the Redskins last season, didn’t take long to come up with an answer.

Jordan’s got himself a two-year deal, and another chance to prove himself in the NFL. Never heard of him? You probably didn’t go to Texas El-Paso:
“He [Jordan] started 42 games for UTEP and finished his career with 11,084 passing yards and 88 touchdown passes, both school records. As a senior in 2006, he set single–eason records for passing yards (3,595), completions (282), completion percentage (65.7) and passer efficiency (149.6).”
I know what you’re thinking…6th rounder? Those guys never do anything. Oh yeah…except for that one guy. What’s his name?
Tom Brad…or something. Anyway…
