Forget Florida, Pete Carroll’s gone and caught himself a big fish! Cornerback TJ Bryant, listed as the 59th overall prospect on Scout and the 82nd by Rivals, has thrown a signing day surprise by picking the Trojans. Although listed as a DB, Bryant can handle well on defense, offense and special teams. As reported by SCplaybook:
In his senior season for Lincoln High School, Bryant had 24 solo tackles and four assisted tackles. He also had two fumble recoveries, caused a fumble and broke-up eight passes.
On offense, Bryant caught two passes for 69 yards and a touchdown. On special teams, he returned 14 kicks for 260 yards (18.5 yards per return). Bryant returned 13 punts for 252 yards (19 yard average) and scored a touchdown.
