Former USC and current Minnesota Vikings defensive end Kenechi Udeze, who helped lead the Trojans to a National Championship in 2003, has been diagnosed with luekemia. Several media outlets have reported that doctors are still trying to determine how severe the diagnosis is. A first round draft pick in 2004, Udeze recorded 47 tackles and five sacks while starting for the Vikings last season.

The thoughts and prayers of his teammates as well as the whole Trojan family are with him. Kenechi Udeze is 24 years old.
