Two encouraging occurrences at Galen Center this afternoon.
Here’s the first. Parents Weekend has generated an apparent sellout for winless Oregon State today.
Guess it’s a double hit when Mom and Dad come to town. Instead of passing on the late afternoon game, the kids come to root for the Trojans because that’s what the out-of-town parents would like to do as they catch a glimpse of second-year Galen Center.
And that fills up the student section that was noticeably unfilled Thursday with the crowd of 8,721 that showed up for the Oregon game.
