According to dailybreeze.com the game, which took place at the coliseum Friday night, was tied 1-1 going into the 79th minute. Then Mexico took control.

Villalplano, who plays at UC Riverside, took advantage of a Trojans misplay in the box and booted in an unassisted goal at 79:25…Soon after, at 82:38, Mora hit a soft pop shot over charging USC All-American goalkeeper Kristin Olsen.

Mexico went on to beat the Women of Troy, 3-1.
