During their joint appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Billy Ray Cyrus explained if it wasn’t for his cameo in David Lynch’s (one of many) masterpiece Mulholland Dr., Cyrus said that he probably would’ve not pursued a career in acting. Cyrus said that he was a fan of Lynch at the time and just went out on an audition and got the part. While on set, Cyrus said that Lynch told him that he was a natural at this acting thing and the rest is how you say, history. So, in theory if it wasn’t the crazed genius of David Lynch telling Billy Ray Cyrus to stick it, there’d be no Miley Cyrus and no Hannah Montana. Tweens, send your thank notes over here; parents who’ve dropped a gem on concert tickets, send your angry notes to the same place.
