Apparently John “Awkward Look” Krasinski’s directorial debut, an adaptation of David Foster Wallace’s Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, still remains in the cutting room despite shooting in November 2006. He claims the film will be talking heads only, which could be more interesting in theory than practice.

After he fights with George Clooney for the affection of Renee Zellweger and wraps whatever pittance of a fourth season of The Office remains, he’ll hit the road in a Sam Mendes-directed road comedy penned by Dave Eggers and his wife, Vendela Vida. Unfortunately, Maya Rudolph’s riding shotgun.
