The right-handed pitcher from USC has been cookin’ up something hot. Last Saturday, junior Ryan Cook pitched his first complete game shutout, holding #2 Arizona to a scoreless three-hits. The final was USC over AZ, 5-0. Impressed? The Pac-10 seemed to be. Ryan Cook just received the Pac-10 pitcher of the week honors. And if a 5-0, USC shutout over Arizona sounds like deja-vus, don’t worry, you aren’t losing your mind. USC Junior left-hander Tommy Milone pitched seven innings of a 5-0 shutout over Arizona on Friday. According to the Pac-10 official site: It was the first time since 1969 that Arizona has been shut out in back-to-back games.
