Taj Gibson likes when Tim Floyd has ulcers. At least that’s what it looks like. LA Times is reporting that the sophomore-forward, who averaged 10.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, announced Monday night at the Trojan team banquet that he would return for his junior year. Good news for the soon-to-be defense depleted Trojan basketball team, and a sure sigh of relief to Floyd. But don’t relax too much Tim-bo! The article continues to say Gibson’s commitment to his junior year might not be as solid as hoped:
…a source close to the situation said the 6-foot-9 forward would assess his future over the next few days before deciding whether to declare for the NBA draft.
Gibson, a projected second round pick, has a lot to mull over in the coming weeks. So, Tim…grab a bottle of champagne in one hand and a 20-pack of alka-seltzer in the other. It’s a long wait until April 27th, the early-deadline to declare for the NBA draft.
