1. Search. What if I want to search for that post I made 300 posts ago? 300 posts ago is not even that long ago if you do 10 posts a day. Just one month ago would be 30 pages back. Ugh.

2. Tagging. Sure, you can show me All the Videos Posted by Me/Everyone or All Text. But sometimes it’s not just text. Some text is about pop culture, other times it is reblogging a debate about feminism or pillow fights.

3. Time stamp on my Dashboard. I know this has to be easy, and must be one outter join away becuse the second I click into a particular post, the time stamp is right there. Am I the only nut who wants to see a timestamp next to each post in my Dash?

Obviously, I know development is crazy and stuff like search is super taxing on the DB and you have to index everything, so this is just pie in the sky talk.

What do YOU want to see in Tumblr?

I’d add extended post capability…not so much b/c I want to turn Tumblr into a full-blown bloggy CMS – but b/c sometimes there are jokes that are SO much better when you can conceal the payoff after a jump/below the fold.
