InsideHoops.com Says O.J. Is Gone

InsideHoops.com usually gets to stuff before ESPN, but hopefully they are jumping the gun. It’s a rumor way down the page.

A source informs InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner that USC guard O.J. Mayo, plans on declaring for the 2008 NBA Draft. Unless he has a sudden change of heart, he may announce his intentions any day now, possibly today. Also, USC’s Taj Gibson and Davon Jefferson are also leaning towards going pro.

They have O.J. going 8th to the Charlotte Bobcats in their mock draft.

    I cannot believe he is leaving and to think I thought that SC was going to become the North Carolina of the west coast. Go Knicks! OJ I hope you are in New York next season.
