Jefferson Returns?

The LA-Times quoted an anonymous source claiming that Davon Jefferson, the Trojans 6-8 forward and second leading-scorer, will forgo the draft in order to return for his sophomore year.

“He is not declaring for the draft,” said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “He has not hired an agent nor will he hire an agent. He looks forward to going back to USC and is 100% committed to the team.”

If confirmed, holding on to Jefferson, a projected first-rounder, would be a major feather in Tim Floyd’s cap and a huge gain to soon to be Mayo-depleted Trojan team. A Davon Jefferson/Demar DeRozan combo would be powerful force to behold.
