Is it exciting? 2007, Washington and Hazelton, USC Sports Talk

For the Trojan faithful, the culmination of Spring practice is marked by the Trojan Huddle, USC’s never-disappointing Spring Game. If you want to see Mark vs. Mitch firsthand, or what all the Allen Bradford hype is really about, or if Damian Williams really is USC’s receiving savior…if you’ve asked yourself any or all of these questions, then you should get up early and mosey over to Coliseum. The gates open at 10am and the cost is $10 bucks. I know it’s Saturday, and I know it’s early. But think of it as practice for the football season. You’ve probably tailgated earlier than that before. I know I’ve been on the wrong end of a Trojan beer-bong before 8am…so suck it up.

Not only do you get to see the game with 20,000 of your closest Trojan friends, which means you get a good seat NO MATTER WHAT. For all of you who have season tickets some 92 rows up, this is your chance to see the players without binoculars. Not to mention there’s also the Trojan Fan Fest, which means bring a camera — there’s a chance for player autographs, games and giveaways. Plus chances to buy Trojan merchandise. If you’re thinking about going, Adam Rose of the LA Times blog “All Things Trojan” put together a Fan Guide to the Huddle that’s really worth checking out.

Date: 4/19/08
Place: LA Coliseum
Time: Gates open @10AM, Kickoff @ 11:00AM
Cost: 10$, Kids under 12 FREE
