USC assistant coach Dave Watson is taking a personal leave from the football program for the rest of the month. Watson was arrested in El Segundo last month on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs. He was cited after being involved in a minor collision. “He’s taking a little break because he’s working on some family stuff,” USC coach Pete Carroll said. “He’s going to be out for the next few weeks.”
