Booty was drafted by the Vikings in the fifth round (137th overall) of the ’08 NFL Draft. Although Minnesota’s shaky quarterback Tavaris Jackson is likely to earn the start, there remains a good possibility that Booty will see playing time in the ’08 NFL season.
