USC phenom OJ Mayo became the highest Trojan to be drafted in the NBA at #3 overall, by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota finished the ’07-’08 season with a dismal 22-60 record, after trading their star Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics. Mayo’s ball handling, perimeter shooting and leadership ability should make an immediate impact on a roster that’s struggling without a clear player to rally behind.
