Two things shocking about this ad that appeared in Monday’s editions of the Los Angeles Times. First, it’s a five-column ad in the Times, a rarity these days. (OK, we couldn’t resist a jab at our former employer.) Second, Slick Rick and the Bruins better win a few games before they start claiming turf. Tennessee is coming to town on Monday, and given the sad state of UCLA’s offensive line, the Bruins are going to be in for a rough evening at the Rose Bowl. By the time the USC game rolls around in December, Neuheisel might be forced to play quarterback.
