USC is No. 5 in the latest BCS standings, its chances of slipping into the national title game now virtually nonexistent.

If the Trojans beat rival UCLA on Saturday, they will play Penn State in the Rose Bowl.

Oregon, at No. 19, is the only other Pac-10 team in the standings after it beat Oregon State over the weekend in the Civil War. The Ducks are headed to the Holiday Bowl to play the No. 3 Big 12 team.
