The true freshman barely lost out to Aaron Corp for the No. 1 quarterback spot in the spring. With Corp possibly out three weeks because of a leg injury, Barkley has another shot to elevate himself.

Everything seems to have fallen into place for Matt Barkley since his January arrival at USC.
