Yawn. 

Yes, the original UK version of The Office is sacred.  But they put up, what, like 12 episodes and a special?  I’m not suggesting that quantity trumps quality; just asking the Old Testament devotees to recognize that if you took the funniest moments from 100+ US episodes and packed them into 12 episodes, the distribution of funny would be pretty even.

However, if you’re in the select group of people who’s created 100+ installments of something using the same characters, same setting, etc and never, ever had even a momentary dip in quality, by all means, snipe away.  You’ve pulled off the impossible and get a lifetime stamp on your trash talking card.

Otherwise, go back into your cave with your 3 DVDs encompassing the entire body of the series, mourn the fact that nothing could ever be as funny as your sacred original, and stop boring the rest of us.  Everything Else > You.
