You can’t go wrong with a mix of art and tequila.

1800 Tequila’s Essential 1800 contest enlists artists to create original works for collector’s edition tequila bottles. A contribution by Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One (bottom right) was the ringer, but the 11 other designs here were selected as contest winners from artist submissions by StevOramA (Honolulu), Ian McGillivray (Brooklyn, New York), Nickelyn Reames (Manteca, California), danyol (San Francisco), Leyland “Lee” DeVito (Detroit), Danielle Salinas (Bloomfield, New Jersey), Chad Shore (Atlanta), Mark Sweeney (San Francisco), Branden Tintiangco (San Diego), Chuck Trunks (Los Angeles) and Michelle Villasenor (Atlanta).

There’s more info, including artist bios and info on how to score one of these limited edition bottles, on the Essential 1800 site.
