I’m going to side with the doctor that calls this “one of the worst ideas of all time.”
While I don’t agree with its legal status and the resources burned enforcing its illegality, Oregon doctors prescribing cannabis for ailments that it’s obviously a longshot to fix – especially for high school kids who are prone to immense temptation to use it for group recreation, not personal treatment – seems to completely validate those who would argue its legalization has nothing to do with any form of sound medicine.
Does anybody really believe kids who can’t focus in class really need a doobie to fix them right up?
