By now I’m guessing you’ve heard about Epic Beard Man, aka Vietnam Tom, the 67-year old man caught on tape giving a younger Bay Area public transit rider a very public beatdown after a heated verbal exchange. But, if by some chance you haven’t seen the video or read up on the resulting meme, I highly suggest you give it a viewing (during a slow moment in today’s Health Care Summit, naturally).

Based on current trends and EBM’s popularity online over the past week, Tom’s book deal announcement can’t be more than a few days away. So you might as well start getting to know him, before his inevitable turn as a guest on Tosh.0 and ‘ripped from the headlines’ plot on Law & Order.
