For now, LOST: The Animated Series is just a figment in illustrator Michael Blaine’s imagination.

But what if you made this show? What if you took all the scenes from all the episodes and animated them? Keep the original audio and sound, just change the visual to be purely animated. Would people not lap that up on Adult Swim? I’m sure it wouldn’t be cheap – but you’d already have all your audio and writing and everything done…that’s got to be worth something.

All those crappy remakes of things out there, how has no one ever tried this approach? I’ve seen every Seinfeld a thousand times – but I’d happily rewatch the entire canon of Animated Seinfeld.
