Congratulations to the USC Men’s tennis team. For a second year in a row they are NCAA team champions. They defeated Tennessee 4-2 for back-to-back national titles.

USC finished the season with a 25-3 overall record. This was USC’s 18th all-time NCAA men’s tennis championship. No school in the country holds more men’s tennis titles than USC.

Here is a video of coach Peter Smith talking about the victory.

  1. Nice job, Trojans! I’m sure all those orange and white-bedecked Vols fans were gnashing their teeth… and not a Kiffin in sight!

The only downside was having to watch it via ESPNU, with its lousy camera angles, sloppy direction, and inane commentary by Todd Harris and Mal Washington.
