Hooray for Pixar, ouch for Warner Bros. Warner’s success rate over the past decade+ with comic book adaptations that don’t involve Batman and Christopher Nolan is just atrocious. From the recent Superman mess to Watchmen, Warner has squandered everything non-Bat in the DC catalog. This (and a number of other factors including just about every detail that’s emerged thus far) doesn’t bode well for the upcoming Ryan Reynolds-starring Green Lantern adaptation.
