Former USC linebacker and possibly the scariest white guy alive, Brian Cushing, had his four-game suspension for taking a performance-enhancing drug upheld by the NFL on Thursday. Cushing won’t be eligible to play until October.

Cushing won the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year award but was suspended in May for testing positive for HCG. Cushing denied taking the banned substance and appealed the suspension saying he has a unique medical condition that triggered the positive test. Cushing will be eligible to play against the New York Giants on October 10th.
