The Trojans are on a plane to Hawaii. Here is the latest team news:

The entire offensive line is finally healthy and ready for the opener. Kristofer O’Dowd will play center with sophmore guard Khaled Holmes and junior tackle Tyron Smith on the right side. Senior guard Butch Lewis and sophmore tackler Matt Kalil will start on the left side.

The team captains this year are QB Matt Barkley, FB Stanley Havili, LB Malcolm Smith, LB Michael Morgan and CB Shareece Wright.

Freshman WR Kyle Prater will more than likely redshirt this year. He has not been fully healthy and the receiver position is stacked with talent. This move should pay off in the coming years with all the scholarship sanctions.

Freshman safety Patrick Hall has been suspended from the team. No specifics have been announced.
