  1. Monte will have to adjust or even scrap his pro style defense and develop one that fits the college game. Much in the way Jeremy Bates had trouble running the offense last year, Monte will need to reshape his defensive schemes to the college level. Unfortunately we have too many players who are new to their position and do not have the experience to assume the sophistication of a pro-style defense or the necessary ability. It will be interesting to see if Monte along with the other coaches can reshape this defense.
