Two usual suspects get game balls this week. A former Trojan scores his first touchdown and a T-Wire favorite bounced back from a bad performance last week and shined on like a crazy diamond.
Clay Matthews and Troy Polamalu right now are arguanly the best two defenders in the NFL. Matthews leads the league with 6 sacks in two games. He only needs 17 more in 14 games to break Michael Strahan’s sack record (22.5). For a second week in a row Matthews was Peter King’s defensive player of the week.
Another week, another Troy Polamalu INT. He also had a perfectly timed jump on the goal line to prevent a Titans TD. Like everything Troy does, it was a thing of beauty. Here is your weekly Troy highlight:
Colts DT Fili Moala scored his first TD in the NFL. He recoverd a fumble in the endzone Sunday night against the Giants.
TrojanWire favorite Mark Sanchez outplayed Tom Brady on Sunday in a 28-14 win over the Patriots. In this game Sanchez was the best QB on the field. He finished the day 21/30 for 220 yards and 3 TDs and no INTs.
