Being the nicest Canadian is quite an accomplishment. I certainly hope Liz Goodwin’s headline for The Upshot isn’t embellishing for dramatic effect. Although giving away millions while enduring chemo is pretty off-the-charts, even on the Canadian niceness scale (I’m told it’s metric).
