Here is what Matt Barkley said of his chances of playing this week,

“I plan on playing. There’s a big possibility that I could be good to go.”

Barkley took a few reps with the scout team on Tuesday but was not moving well. Safety T.J. McDonald has not practiced this week and is looking very doubtful to play on Saturday. Offensive tackle Tyron Smith missed the Notre Dame game but should play on Saturday.

After the jump some Ronald Johnson quotes on how he hopes to redeem himself on Saturday. I feel horrible for the guy, he seems like such a class act…

Here is what Ronald said about how hard the past few days have been for him and how long it took him to feel normal again:

“It took maybe two days,” Johnson said. “I did a lot of praying and soul searching. I should have caught that ball. The rain is no excuse. It you want to be a great athlete, you have to make catches.”

And here are his thoughts on the FUCLA game:

“To be honest, I’m overanxious right now,” Johnson said. “I can’t wait. I can only take this one day at a time.”

Johnson is known for getting practice early and leaving late, that is probably why this has been so hard for him. Keep your head up ROJO, we need you Saturday. Fight on…

  1. Rojo is the man, I’ve always thought and still think he is a great wide receiver and he has been clutch throughout his USC career. He will be great in the NFL. We got your back Rojo! You ARE one of my favorite players. Fight On and BEAT THE BRUINS!!!!
