Congratulations to Robert Woods for being named PAC-10 Offensive Freshman of the year. Woods caught 64 passes for 786 yards and six touchdowns. As a kick returner he averaged 25.6 yards on 38 returns (a school record) and had a 97 yard TD return. Woods was also named to First Team PAC-10 Specialists as a kick returner.

Other players receiving recognition from the PAC-10 coaches are Tyrone Smith and Jurrell Casey. They were both voted on the First Team Offense and Defense. T.J. McDonald was voted to Second Team Defense and Ronald Johnson was named Second Team Specialist as a Punt Returner.
