Gardena (Calif.) Serra five-star wide receiver, George Farmer is going to be a Trojan. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound wide receiver and safety prospect called Coach Kiffin and told him “I was ready to be a Trojan.” Farmer could make an immediate impact on both offense and defense for the Trojans next year.

Farmer went on to say,

“He [Kiffin] was real excited and so was I and I’m ready to get there and help USC win a national championship. USC has great athletes, my boy Robert Woods is there and I just fit in really well there. It’s hard to explain but there was just something about USC. It’s a great school and it’s where I always wanted to go. They send guys to the NFL every year, they’re a great academic school and they’re very strong athletically as well. The whole recruiting process was starting to wear on me a little and I’m just relieved and excited to have this decision behind me.”

“I’m coming in to win national championships,” “We’ve got a lot of talent there, a lot of five-star athletes. We’re going to come in and do our thing and hopefully the sanctions won’t mess us up.”

Farmer will be reunited with his former teammate Robert Woods. When Woods and Farmer played together they led their team to a state title.

“It’s big, what we did here at Serra,” Farmer said of his time with Woods, “but it’s going to be even bigger when we do it in college.”
