Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassel and Carson Palmer were all winners this past weekend.
Mark Sanchez won a tough game on the road against the Steelers 22-17. Sanchez was 19 for 27 for 170 yards and scored on a seven yard run. This was the first time since the merger in 1970 that the Jets have beaten the Steelers on the road.
Matt Cassel came back 11 days after an emergency appendectomy to beat the Rams on the road. Cassel was 15 for 29 for 184 yards with a TD and an INT. This was a must win for the Rams who are battling the Chargers in a close race for the AFC championship and a playoff berth.
Carson Palmer and the Bengals snapped a 10 game losing streak with a 19-17 win over the Browns. Palmer was 14 for 23 for 209 yards but more importantly he did not throw any INTs this week.
