Jio Fontan was named the PAC-10 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 20 – 26. He led the Trojans to victories of Tennessee and Lehigh last week. Fontan averaged 17 points, 4 assist and 3.5 steals. He was not eligible to play for the Trojans until after the first semester of school after transferring from Fordham. Fontan has only played three games for the Trojans but has been a major difference maker in all three contests.

USC starts Conference play against Washington on Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the Galen center. They play Washington State on Friday at 3 pm at the Galen center.
