This San Diego Chargers uniform concept is NOT the official Nike Pro Combat gear that the team will start wearing in 2012, contrary to reports earlier in the week suggesting these and other designs were approved artwork leaked from Beaverton, where Nike Football heads are prepping for their ‘12 takeover as the official outfitter of the NFL.

But it does beg the question – which teams are most in need of a Nike makeover after next season? I’ll go ahead and nominate the Bills (I know you want to move to Toronto, but that doesn’t mean you have to dress like a CFL team), Seahawks (highlighter green is not an option for a team color), Eagles (just go back to your O.G. green and silver already), Panthers (it’s time for a brand identity that wasn’t inspired by a mid-1990’s Janet Jackson video) and Buccaneers (it’s hard to believe, but your current logo and pewter helmets make us long for the creamsicles).
