Nine Trojans were selected in the NFL draft over the weekend. USC tied North Carolina for the most players selected from the same school.

Tyron Smith was the only Trojan selected in the first round. As expected he went 9th to the Dallas Cowboys. He has a shot to start immediately at right tackle.

Jurrell Casey went to the Titans with the 77th pick in the third round. This is probably a little bit of a disappointment for Casey. He left USC early because he believed he had 1st or 2nd round talent.

Shareece Wright was selected the Chargers with the 89th pick in the third round. He will get an opportunity to play special teams for the Bolts.

Jordan Cameron went to the Browns with 102nd pick in the fourth round. The Browns believe Cameron has a high ceiling and great athleticism.

Ronald Johnson will rejoin his old receivers coach John Morton in San Francisco. The 49ers selected him with pick 182 in round 6.

Allen Bradford went to the Bucs with pick 187 in round 6. He will team up with LeGarrette Blount in Tampa.

Stanley Havili went to the Eagles in the 7th round with pick 240. David Ausberry went to the Raiders with pick 241. Malcolm Smith went to the Seahawks and Pete Carroll with pick 242. That’s right, three Trojans selected back to back to back.
