TJ McDonald is one of the bright spots, if not the brightest spot, for USC’s defense this upcoming season. He enters his junior year finishing off last season with 89 tackles, 3 interceptions, and a sack.

He is a source of reliability and stability in a Trojan secondary looking to rebound from last season’s growing pains.

TJ is raking in the accolades, too! He is an Athlon preseason All-American as well as being on the watch list for several awards: Nagurksi Award, Bednarik Award, Lott Trophy, and the Thorpe Award.
