After completing 26 of 39 passes for 324 yards and 5 TDs against Syracuse, Matt Barkley was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for offense. Barkley tied a school record with his 5 Tds. He shares the record with Carson Palmer, Rodney Peete, Matt Leinart and Mark Sanchez. Utah’s Trevor Reilly and Cal’s Brendan Bigelow were also named Players of the Week for defense (Reilly) and special teams (Bigelow).
