Matt Barkley Highlights 2011

Matt Barkley had a phenomenal junior season, and now he must make “the decision”.

A multimillion dollar contract awaits Matt if he leaves now, but a potential Heisman Trophy and national championship await if he returns to USC.

Matt has already set school records, most notably the most TD passes and most passing yards in a single game. If he returns, he can break even more records. At the rate he’s playing, could MB#7 be the best USC quarterbackever?

Matt has come a long way since he stepped on the field as a true freshman against San Jose State. Comparing his freshman and junior seasons, Barkley has more than doubled his touchdown passes (15 to 39), has cut his interceptions in half (14 to 7), has thrown an additional 813 yards (2735 to 3548), and has increased his pass completion percentage by almost 10% (59.9 to 69.1). With those numbers, he deserves consideration for the trip to New York for the Heisman Trophy presentation.

One more year? Enjoy the highlights.
