Here are news and notes for their last spring practice. The team scrimmaged Saturday morning for 56 plays and a two-point conversion.

Players that sat out with injuries were LB Dion Bailey (hamstring), QB Jesse Scroggins (hip), WR George Farmer (hamstring), RB Buck Allen (hamstring), TE Xavier Grimble, WR Robert Woods (ankle) and C Khaled Holmes (strained calf).

The offense only scored twice with Cody Kessler hitting De’Von Flournoy and then Marqise Lee for TDs. The defense dominated the scrimmage. Nickell Robey was the MVP of the day with an interception and a forced fumble.

The Trojans are on spring break this week.
